whenever I open my own profile or the profile of another avatar it is locked what do i do?

I have problems looking at profiles. Whenever I open my own profile or the profile of another avatar it is locked and I have to click a sign (lock) in the upper right corner of the profile to log in. This is new to me and before I didnt have to do so.

What can I do to get the status of before?

It's a bug that happens on any viewer that has the CEF changes.

If you tick the "Remember me on this computer" checkbox when you sign in, the viewer should auto login to the profiles each session.  However, this is really buggy & will often fail to work.

Nothing you can do about this until the bug gets fixed in the viewer code I'm afraid.
