Correct.

When you buy Lindens (or pay any fees to LL) they always use your US$ balance on your account first & if there is not enough there to cover the charge, that is when they will use whatever payment method you have on file.

How You are Billed for Buying L$

For basic Market Buy orders, any credit on your US$ account balance will automatically be applied to charges for purchasing Linden Dollars first, then any remainder will be charged to your payment source on file with us. You can check your payment setup in your account settings.

For Limit Buy orders, you must have sufficient credit on your US$ account balance to fully cover the charges.
