Had to log out & back in at a location other than home. Do i need to wait the 30-60 min to log out?

When I looged into my home I got a message saying (sorry paraphrasing) "Linden Labs is unable to establish a connection at this location. Please log out and back in at another location for 30 min to an hour." Do I really need to wait 30 min to an hour to log back out?

ehm no... it means your home region won't be available for that time.

Hi Zita,

It's as Alwin says. The region you attempted to log in to was down. Because you were unable to log in, you're also unable to teleport elsewhere. So you must log out. The message presumes you still want to enter SL, and instructs you to do so via another region (location). The "30 min to an hour" is an estimate of the time your home region will be offline. I'll guess there was a server failure and it takes a 30-60 min to recover the most recent backup to a new server.
