Does SL retire accounts that aren't logged on and if so, how long does an acct have to be inactive?

Hi Shells,

As far as I know, basic accounts never retire. But, if you have a premium account and fail to keep up-to-date with payments, LL will eventually delete it. If the account is still alive, you should be able to find it via search.  If you can find the account(s), try opening a support case here(rather than trying the "Forgot Password" link when you try to log-in)...

https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/

Select "Account issue" and "Lost password".

If you cannot find the old account, select "Account issue" and "Reactivate an old account". Explain that you didn't deactivate the account, but can no longer find it.

In both cases, you'll have to prove you own the account(s) in question. Be ready to answer some questions, or offer other proof. And, in both cases, the e-mail address LL will respond to is that of the account you are logged-in on at the point you open the support case.

Good luck!
