Had I meant your first suggestion, I would have written, 'Torch, THE girl', so I clearly meant the latter, 'THE girl' being she who the option were about. She sees no reason to wear Tory Burch's logo until Tory is wearing hers. When I remind Maddy that she has no logo, she tells me to "shut the hell up". Some even forget completely who they really are and end up with some psychological disorder.
