how can I delete an event in SL community listings?

Just locate your event and display its details:

Select the Edit option to make changes. Be sure to save it again. Use the Delete key to kill the Event Notice. It will take a bit for the event to not be listed afterwards. You'll have to wait for the next update job to run.
