why do I freeze and or crash on SL viewer

I have the latest downloaded SL viewer but I find I am more and more being frozen

with SL not responding and finally crashed or logged out especially after right

clicking on another avi just to IM them. This happens within 2 hours of being

logged on and sometimes after TP into a sim then just turning my avi and boom!

Your computer may be overheating.  Get a free app like CPU-Z (and GPU-Z for graphics cards) that can monitor your temperatures and performance.  If it shows you are overheating and the computer is throttling down to cool off, open your computer up and thoroughly blow out all the dust with a can of compressed air.  Check to see that all cooling fans are running.
