wint3riscoming
I am trying to enable RLV relay. I've been reading the instructions, but it's not working as they say. I'm using the Restrained Love Viewer and trying to enable the dominatech relay. It says to click wear and then click on the HUD, but when I click on the HUD, the only thing that happens is my avatar moves. It doesn't open any menus like the instructions say it's supposed to. I can right-click and go to edit, but that doesn't bring up any of the menus I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated.
ObviousAltIsObvious
a fresh copy of that hud from the Dominatech shop seems to work OK here without any tricks. if you right-click and pick Touch instead of Edit, does that work? that relay defaults to a very low position on the screen, you might move it a little with the editor, maybe its clicks are being caught by some other button nearby? steph Arnott
Sounds like you have rezzed it inworld. Find it in your inventory and use add. You do not use wear for any thing other than body parts. The script will not opeen the menu becouse it is detecting that it is not attatched to you. Well thats the way i understand your post.
Phil Deakins
Add attaches it to the body. Attach to HUD attaches it to the viewer.
steph Arnott
Yes i just realized that error.I meant the attatch, thanks. No was right, a relay is added. Got me confused for a min.
Phil Deakins
The OP does write 'wear' but I'm not familiar with HUDs that are on the avatar. It would be a contradiction. So I thought I'd point it out.

wint3riscoming
Sorry I should have been more clear. I was implying that I did, in fact, click 'wear'.. But okay, there was a lot of confusion, so let me just clarify. I should click 'add', instead? I remember trying that last night, but if I remember correctly, it seemed to have the same result. I will try that once more. Also, I should probably add that I somehow got it to turn on and be recognized by an RLV checker, but I'm not exactly sure how I did that, and I still can't access the menus for it. steph Arnott
The add method is prefered due to multi attatchment points. The old wear way was due to limits on attatchment points. The add is used to overlay multi things which if you use wear will remove what is worn and replace it with the selected. Wear is now best kept to body parts like eyes Looking at the link the relay and the HUD are two seperate items. If the scripts are written correctly they should sort them selves out by simply just useing add on each. You could and for your own reasons read the link, tho the you may allready have that on a product notecard.
wint3riscoming
Thanks everyone, but I finally figured it out. Basically, I just didn't know what I was doing. Thanks for all the responses, though.
