how do i take a perfect picture with just the avatar

Do you mean, "How do I take a picture of my own avatar?"  Easy, turn your camera around to face you and click the camera button.  If you use the odd Camera Control widget, click the icon that looks like an eye to put the camera in Front view.  If you're using your mouse and the arrow leys, do it this way...

EDIT: Oh, and if you mean "Just my avatar and nothing else in the picture", take the photo in front of a blank wall. If you can't find one, rez a prim, stretch it, and make it blank.
