Paul Hexem Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Last I checked, Firestorm was trying to make this happen- ability to use the viewer in multiple monitors/multiple windows. Lots of hurdles to make it happen. However, just now I noticed a JIRA get Fixed and set to "released" on the official SL JIRA, https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/vwr-467 Did I miss something?
ObviousAltIsObvious Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 just some random user appears to have pressed button to marked it closed.
Ohjiro Watanabe Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 There was DUI (http://www.firestormviewer.org/the-real-joke-dui-is-no-joke/in) 2014 but no news on it since then. Maybe because screen sizes have increased it isn't so much of an issue for people now.
Bradford Mint Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 You know that you can just stretch the SL viewer window across multiple monitors already? Don't use full screen, can't do it then but you can have the viewer windowed and maximised.
Nalates Urriah Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 The primary problem is the complication of moving panels out side the main render window. It has been talked about... a lot. But, the problem seems to be too complex. Not because it is technically difficult. But, because the way it is handled is too interwoven with the rest of the viewer. The complexity is in untangling the spaggeti.
