Can I make it so others can't change the textures on my furniture?

a orb won't prevent the changing of textures, everybody outside your parcel can click the furniture too.

Only when the furniture has a "owner only" mode you are able to prevent it.

Well, you can turn off all scripts in your parcel before you log out (in World >>> About Land >>> Options), but that's a bit awkward and it will stop ALL scripts, not just your texture changers.  Or you can drop a big prim around your furniture before you leave.  Or you can live with the annoyance.
