Listen to a different stream than the one that the land owner has set on parcel?

Without promoting certain games, I TP a lot, which means constantly changing parcels and therefore music streams.

I want to know if there is a way in game that I can listen to a stream of my choosing, rather than the ones set by different landowners? Thereby enjoying uninterupted music.

Yes I am aware that I could mute the ingame stream and simply stream something on my computer, but then I don't have full control over all the in game volumes.

P.S If there is a free way to do it, the better!

Music in SL is set by the parcel 100% of the time. Stream something on your computer.

You can control all the "in-game volumes" fluidly with only a couple of button-presses - just use the master volume control for your PC, or the twiddle-knob on the speaker.

Point your cursor on the speaker symbol at the top right corner of the creen. When a popup menu appears, uncheck "Music" and "Media". That will turn off all the unwanted media streamign but not affect other inworld sounds.
