missing new born, kittyCatS, missing water. after I turned off running scripts. HELP plz!!!

Things can be confusing when you re-parcel land and change ownership or set land to a new group.  Before you make changes, it's always wise to turn OFF the autoreturn that you may have set. Otherwise, there's a good chance that many of the things you have on the land will be returned to their owner.  It's frustrating, but that has happened to most landowners at least once. Check all folders in your inventory, but especially your Lost & Found folder.  That's where returned items ought to go.  If items were deeded to a group, they will have been returned to their original owner.

Unfortunately, there's another possibility.  There was a lot of unscheduled maintenance yesterday. During times like that, Linden Lab always issues a warning not to rez no-copy items and to take care in building and making land changes.  Some things can be lost permanently at times like that.

Take a look in your Lost and Found folder.   There's several ways that parcelling up the region could cause some of your objects to be returned to you.   The most likely is that the there were more prims on the new parcel than the parcel could support and the items weren't set to the right land group.

If you don't see your objects' names in the lost and found folder but you do see some icons that look like piles of boxes rather than single boxes, then try rezzing these "piles of boxes".   These are "coalesced items" and your missing items are probably hidden among them.

if you putted off scripts you professionally killed your kittycat... and/or anything else tha runs on scripts. Scripted items will turn in, nicely sculpted mesh/prims but nothing more than that.

Most scripted items you can set to running again, but be sure scrpts is enabled or it won't work of course.

Firestorm has a menu button for this, not sure the LL viewer has the same. (select item, choose "set scripts to running")

 

Items that disappear mostly end in your "lost and found" folder in your inventory.

If it was deeded to group, and no copy, you might lost it but with a little luck it will also go to your lost and found.

Or... it can be at the 0.0.0 locaton of your sim.
