is anyone else having problems getting Lindens

I'm not.  I have no idea about anyone else!

If you are having a problem, please describe it in detail.  Use the Options/Edit button at the top right of the post window to edit your question and add information.

EDIT:  Thanks for the additional information.  The error message you are getting indicates that...surprise! ...LL had a problem with charging your payment method.  If you're using a credit card, check to see that it hasn't expired.  If it has not expired, call your CC company to make sure they will authorize a charge from Linden Lab.  I have had purchases denied by my CC company because they thought it might be a fraudulent transaction.

If you're using PayPal, make sure you have enough money in your PayPal account to cover the purchase.  Linden Lab won't wait several days while money is transferred from your RL bank to PayPal to them.  They insist on immediate payment.  If it is a large purchase, you may need to tell PayPal to increase the maximum amount they will send to Linden Research.

Also, I saw a blog post that seemed to indicate LL was doing some unplanned maintenance on their billing system.  If the above problems don't seem to apply to your case, wait a bit and then try again!
