I know you can make a sculpted prim inside out but how do you get a prim to do that?

I am not at all sure that you can do this.  Ordinary prims are only surfaced on the outside...from the inside, they appear invisible.  Even if you, for example, cut a sphere in half and hollow it out, the textures are only applied to the outside faces, nothing in the interior volume of the prim.
