Mesh etc versions of Classic avatars - Shawna

Being new and sure this is a stupid question but are there any so to speak upgraded versions of Classic Avatars available yo buy. I have Shawna and would like to keep generally the same as generally even now get good feedback for something that is free. Or any near enough to hear. Thanks

why change to mesh if you like it what you are now?

There are really lots of people who don't use mesh, or only partial for example feet and/or hands

I was thinking re skin realism etc - saw someone yesterday who had a lady of similar skin tones that looked very realistic

Skin has nothing to do with mesh, because a skin is basically just a texture and this texture will have the same level of realism or details no matter what surface it covers. A good skin is a good skin.

Mesh may only add to the impression of realism by giving a smoother shape.

I agree with the other 2 responses. If you're happy with your shape, just look for a nicer skin. Good ethnic skins area little harder to find in SL, but there are a few good designers for them.

Angel Rock is well recommended for African skins.
