Mekae,

I'm sorry but you can't rename or change the name of a group once it is created.

Of course you can create another group invite any current members to it by issuing personal invites to the original group member list.

Additionally, if your group is also serving in the role as a Land Group you can transfer any parcel(s) associated with your old group to the new group. You do this by setting the parcel for sale to yourself. Then you Buy for Group the parcel into the new group. Be very careful during this step as the following issues may be encountered:

1) If you have deeded multiple parcels to this Land Group located on a single Region, the Land Group total prim allowed count is the sum of the included parcels. You will have to make sure that each parcel is below it's maximum prim capacity before changing the deeded group ownership.

2) If you have multiple group member(s) who have donated tier levels to the group to maintain the maximum sq meters of mainland parcels the group may own, your'll have to perform a potentially expensive transfer/sale dance to get everything under the control of the new group.

Once a group has been created, it is not possible to change the group name.

Depending on how badly you want the group name to be different, and how many members the group might have, you can create a new group with the name you now want, and then invite/request that the members of the old group join the new group.
