I bought what I thought was an Island....

and after the sale went thouigh, I began returning the former owners signs and stuff back. I deleted a tree and the whole island wanished. I went unerwater and tried to raise the terra firma, to no avail. The land wouldn't change? How can I get my island back? Jackie

That is certainly unusual.  It sounds like the previous owner was not using the SL ground for his "island" but had placed an island-sized mesh object there.  Maybe he did that because he couldn't terraform either, but that seems unlikely.  If you own a private region, you always have terraform power and you can raise the land surface up to 100m .  Anyway, if I am right, the tree you returned was part of that big mesh object, so you returned the entire thing.  You can either figure out how to terraform, or maybe you can buy (or make) your own fake mesh island.
