Hi Janexx,

There's a checkbox in Preferences->Advanced named "Allow multiple viewers". Check that. Then you can launch multiple copies of the viewer, logging into each with a different resident name. Performance will suffer in both experiences, and you may have some instability, but that's to be expected.

Yes.  In Preferences >>> Advanced, click the box for Allow Multiple Viewers.

You can get a little schizophrenic trying to run more than one av at atime.  My primary alt and I often work together, so I've become accustomed to switching perspectives, but I have a heck of a time if I have to keep three of us straight at once.  I end up talking to myself a lot.  The strange thing is that I answer myself too, and each of my alts has a slightly different personality.  It's an odd experience.
