Seems like all anime like avatar especially female are seen as under-aged. Also seems having a female Asian avatar is a kid for most people, even you make the avatar like 180cm (5 ft 11 in). Actually was threaded last week for going to a bit sexual place with Asian avatar even  being that tall,  and they asked me to leave the sim or change avatar. 

So having an avatar that looks like irl Japanese girl especially adding kawaii like cute outfit could get you into trouble. Even seems looking like a female kpop idol. That's not really related but I showed someone a kpop video and they felt like  they are too young for sexy moves in video, then you find out idols in group are 24-30 years old.

So again seems Anime is no go and going there with Asian female avatar you end up in pointless fight saying that's racist. Then comes even height into game anime avatars are generally short for SL standards being usually like 160cm (5ft 3inch). So again if you have Asian female avatar that has irl height which often would range between 155cm (5ft 1in) to 166cm (5ft 5in) you end up in fight about not being a kid. 

Seems though male Asians avatars kinda skip that prejudice except you'd really force it. But Asian female avatar it's really crazy seems like everyone turns on their kid prejudice alarm. 

So height isl for not being a kids seems like 180cm (5ft 11in). Even irl you wont find hardly any woman that is that tall but SL has become a world giants. 

And kinda seems as a woman you have to look like Nicki Minaj with huge butt, breast and very tall not be seen as kid.

In many cases what would pass as a legitimate Adult avatar in Japan and other Asian countries is seen quite differently to American eyes. They just don't have the knowledge. They mostly grow up on Mickey Mouse and Tweety Bird, not decent anime, so just can't see that smaller-than-chibi head size and having breasts is an important factor. When they look at at an anime head they can only see children.

Sometimes it's just too hard to fight.

Carry two avs, anime for 日本, mature and general places and one reserved for adult use in American owned regions.

Change or leave if you are asked, and don't take it personally.

Well, some anime are really too young. Not  really into hentai of course but there are characters who sometimes clearly too young. But that's anime and you can stop here with disappointment. But mine is over 160cm (5tf 3in) which is average height for women in japan and clearly says in the profile 20 years old and age verified.

Real  problem is when even real life looking Japanese girls are seen as kids and kicked out of sims. And after the reaction toward that kpop video with idols in it being average 25 (checked) gets the feeling from westerners how can kids dance like that? Seems it applies for Korean girls too and maybe all Asians women in general. So it becomes like American culture sees them as kids and they can't go to adults sims and women for people isl to qualify to enter have to look like Nicki Minaj like with every huge like butt, breast and giantism problems. It gets really silly. Because there are also many skinny white girls with small breasts and height like 157 to 167 cm (5ft 1in to 5ft 6in) so same body types only height average may be 1inch taller than Asians if you compare that types (only difference). 

So protecting kids in SL becomes more silly thing forcing female avis to looks like porn stars with giantism problems. So nearly all Asians women and many others women if creating an avatar that looks close to their irl body will get the kid no enter card. I get it that people wanna be taller like 1-2 inch as ideal but making it like min height for women to be adult is like 180cm (5ft 11in)really doesn't make sense.

in general avatars are a lot larger than rl sizes,  discussing this scaling is pointless, thats done so often ......  of course you can stick to your idea to keep yours 'real", but leads to what you encountered, a 5 ft avatar is simply small.

You also said in the your first post: cute kawaii outfits... for your culture perhaps cute, but for many others seen as underaged and/or childish, and in combination with a small avatar visiting a adult place the thought of child'play comes in mind  and bring you ánd the owner of that place in very serious trouble, so by most you will be asked to change, leave ór even banned without any notice.

I have the feeling most people go by height proportionality of an avatar compared to other avatars and the environment. While you may have an avatar that is measured to be 5' 11" which is tall for a female in real life many people, including myself, will see a short avatar simply because everyone else is 6 feet or larger. When going to an adult area, you should not only dress appropriately (by dressing inappropriately) but you should also size yourself appropriately (no guys, not that size) because it is easy to do so in SL. People can't instantly change their forms in real life but we can in SL and go from a giant monster to a tiny waif with one click. You need to get out of your real-world mind set and simply think like a chameleon.

Thankfully this is dropping in some circles. Enough to make it perfectly fine to be 100% realistic sized.

I have been in three clubs tonight, one English rock, and two Deutscher goth, and most people I've seen tonight are now 2 meters or less. Worst case seems to be I come up to their eyes, and I am fine with that.

Yes, there are still a small number of clubs that cater to 3 meter people, but it's not as bad as it was a decade ago. You can now easily avoid those 3 meter clubs and still never run out of new places to go.

There is so much here lol, so not sure if this has already been said, in the wiki for the TOS it states that your avatar look has very little to do with you being a child or not, an that it is more based on how you talk like momy daddy an so on.. if you claim to be or not to be.. I am sure in some cases they look at the body an clothing used,  but me i am Maitreya v-tech male.. I look very young, but im an adult an do adult things with others, because I dont claim or desire to be a child in these actions but I do desire to be a mixture of cute an sexy... Your height an size has pretty much nothing to do with it...

You also have to think about the getting taller trend males seem to be into while most girls stay short.. If height had a say in it.. then 75% of SL has been age playing  : T

Its so dumb to, people thinking just because someone is shorter then you're a child people need to grow up an think, its not what the other person says its what LL put out there, these child which hunts are a waste of a good time, its easier to go by are they using SMB\Tweenster\pan\ an so on.. Those are the types of bodies to watch out on, even though its not a instent indicator  of *****, but those are child purpose bodies (( Now I can see someone modifying there base use to fit some sort of RP, like fairy, Aliens or what ever, but those bodies in asexual setting regardless of what age you claim is to risky)) 

Personally its all dumb the act of ***** is not a felony in the USA, not even in real life you get adult couples pretending to be back in high school doing dress up and other things, the only reason SL removed it as an allowed play, an they even stated this, was because of our friends overseas.. Being that said we have proxys filters far as I know that keep people from different states from gambling, if they cared so much or if anyone else cared so much.. then make a red light district.. an before you call me an idiot I can list a few thing kids can do.

Everything but sex.. that everything includes: Killing\killed Drugs or sell drugs drink an gamble play in any horrific way thats not sexual in nature, drive cars an be home owners, swear an show other forms of inappropriate behavior lol SL kids can do 99+ things on the wall but sex aint one of them. (( PS I may not agree with the TOS but at the same time I understand it to a point, but dont be stupid an nit pick or ruin SL for the adults who're not kids))
