Unfortunately, Windows XP is no longer supported, not only by Microsoft but also by Linden Lab, the developers of Second Life.

The modules for voice support are no longer operable in the Windows XP environment. Any older 3D SL Viewer will have issues just accessing and rendering SL on an XP PC yet supporting Voice as well.
