I bought a sky island, and althought I can rez it, it says I'm not autherized to stay

I can rez but I can't stay. I suspect that since that since I am over Merrow, Linden is not allowing it. Please advise me how to comply!

You didn't buy land.  All you bought was something to put on it (actually above it, but that's the same thing).  A "sky island" is nothing more than a platform, a fancy skybox.  You'll need to buy or rent a parcel somewhere to rez it.  Be sure that the place you get has enough L.I. and is physically large enough for the footprint of your "island".

Incidentally, Merrow is a Linden Homes region, so you wouldn't be allowed to rez a skybox anyway.  It's a violation of the convenant.  "Land cannot contain sky boxes, temporary object rezzers, or individual prims beyond the maximum size allowed by the Second Life Viewer build tools."
