TerryShuriken
When editing mesh objects I usually don't see all of the triangles/vertices and etc, but after downloading Firestorm again I can see all the vertices and it makes it difficult to see all of the details while editing the mesh. So how do I hide those? They were never visible on the older version of FS I was using
TerryShuriken
More info on the topic, they're called "Selection Outlines" and I used to never have to see all the hundreds of vertices visible when selecting mesh objects, but now I do. Still trying to figure out how to turn that off and only see the outline without all of the vertices/triangles.
arton Rotaru
It's called "Show hidden selection" (uncheck that) in the official viewer. Under Build > Options. No idea where this is located in Firestorm, though
TerryShuriken
That hides all of the outlines though so its hard to tell what selection you're selecting. Previously when clicking mesh you'd see the outline and no vertices. On vertices-heavy objects you can't see the textures at all underneath the wireframe. arton Rotaru
Not for me on the official viewer. There is a "Show Selection Outline", and a "Show Hidden Selection" option. If I check both I see this: And if I check outlines only I see this: Like I mentioned, I don't use third party viewers. Maybe you should try asking in a Firestorm support group what's going on. Coby Foden
I use Firestorm 4.7.5 and it works exactly the same way as Linden Lab's viewer shown in your pictures.
Zequ Quartz
I am building a Mesh TV. The media displays only on face 3. When i click on it to run the media, I can see the selection outline but I'm not even editing it. Is there any way of disabling that without having to disable 'show outline while editing'?
