SO, COMETH THE NEW YEAR, COMETH THE NEW VIRTUAL WORLD...BUT WHERE? WE SEE NO PROGRESSION OR UPDATES ON SANSAR / SL2 / CLOUD CUCKOO-VILLE, THIS IS ITS SUPPOSED LAUNCH YEAR!!!

Last I heard, LL was shooting for the open beta to be released sometime in the last half of this year.  I don't think LL even knows when that'll actually happen.

This year is 366 days long.  It could launch in beta on any of those days.  Besides, it wasn't a promise, it was just a projected time frame IF all goes well.

There is far more important things to worry about the the new SL2/Sansar. From what I understand it won't effect sl at all. So why worry about something that MIGHT come out.

Better not to rush it and have it come out well (or as well as can be expected for a Beta version) than to rush it and it be a flop.  As best as I can imagine, this is not a simple video game they plan to launch, so let's just be patient.  I am sure they will keep us in the loop as development progresses.
