Suki Hirano 26
How does one give mesh structures proper collision? I have a simple upside-down V-shaped archway with literally less than 100 vertices, and trying to give it physics in the uploader so I can walk through it but collide with the solid parts. In the uploader I have tried:- Selecting "lowest", "low", "medium", "high" and "load from file" (same .dae file) for physics level- Selecting "solid" in the mesh type- Selecting "better detail"Nothing works. In fact it does the exact opposite of what I want. I can't walk under the archway (invisible wall), but I can walk through the solid parts... what in the world? It's like SL is trolling me. Jorie Muircastle 3
A shot in the dark, but did you make sure to analyze?
Drongle McMahon 592
Also, just in case, have you set the physics shape type to "Prim" inworld, which is necessary to get the specified physics shape.
ChinRey 6,398
Make the physics model separately from simple cubes, and as Jorie and Drongle said, use the "Analyze" function and remeber to chaneg the pjhsyics type to prim after uploading.
