Sploders that accept contributions from players will run afoul of Linden Lab's gaming policy, but those that are free-to-play are okay.

Maddy is completely correct.  However, quite a few clubs still operate sploders.  You are probably safe, until some disgruntled customer or a competitor decides to report you.
