*Reposted* I can't modify anything new in my inventory, even if it says I have permission

EDIT: I am reposting this because the answer I got did not help me. I know the difference between rigged and unrigged mesh. My issue is that I can't change any textures even when I should be able to.  It's a bug, but when I looked at the rules on the bug report website, it said they do not help with any personal problems, such as inventory issues. Also, I did not know that you could edit your posts and i dont know how to delete my old ones, this is my first time ever having a problem. 

I just started having these problems two days ago. My old objects are still modifyable but anything new is not. 
I tried other viewers and even had my friend try on their computer, 



in properties the object says i have permission to modify, but when I try to edit the object, I do not have those permissions.

I already cleared my cache, rezzed it (still not have been able to texture it while rezzed). and my friend tried it on their computer, so I assume this is a problem with my account.

You might not be able to retexture this mesh whlie you are wearing it.  Rezz it onto the ground first, retexture and rename then take it back into inventory.  Make sure you then wear the renamed version.
