What is the premium "token" that is asked for on some LInden sims?

Some Linden special event sims, such as the Winter Wonderland, offer items to premium members, provided you are "wearing your premium member token". I am a premium member, and have been for years. I have never heard of a token. What is this?

i have never heared about it either, but perhaps it is the wearable decor thingie from the winter premium gifts pack?

If you're a Premium member, you may go to any of the premium gift kiosks in SL to get a non-transferable token to wear for the Winter Wonderland experience. Residents with a premium token will be able to use a classier snowmobile or snowboard than the clunkers that Basic members get to use. They have a greater choice of weapons for the incredible snowball fight region too. It's one of the perks of being a Premium member.

EDIT: Be sure to use a current token. If you still have one from 2015, it won't work. The new one that you get at the kiosks now is for 2016.
