I lost my avatar ? How do I create a new one!

you have many avatars!

Open your inventory, the button with a suitcase symbol or use CTRL+I.

Find the folder Library/Clothing/Initial Outfits.  Each subfolder is a complete avatar.  Simply drag the folder onto yourself to change into that avatar, or right click the folder and choose Replace Outfit.

I recommend using avatars without the word "mesh" in their name.  The non-mesh avatars are much easier to customize.
