SL says there was a problem running this software and then goes off. what should i do?

It's impossible to say.  What kind of problem?  Exactly what did the error message say, and when did it say it? Are there any other symptoms? What do you mean when you say that it "goes off"?  What does it do? What computer are you using?  What are its specifications?  What operating system?  How are you connected to the Internet?  Which SL viewer are you using?  Has the viewer ever run before?
