If they are truly joined, then you don't have two 512 sq m parcels.  You have one 1024 sq m parcel.  You can either sell it as is or you can divide it into two or more smaller parcels and sell them separately.  It doesn't make any difference how your land was configured once upon a time.  All that counts is what its area is now.
