Microsoft's updates to Windows 7 - Windows 10 as of late have issued resets of secured cookies which correspond to some critical security updates. If you are using Internet Explorer 11 and Edge you may experience these resets. Secure cookies may be deleted as a result.
Not that Chrome and Firefox are't culpable as well - I've experienced similar issues with some of their automatic updates.
Just go shopping again...
