Is there a way to revert my avatar back to its original? I messed up on the outifit!

If you are using one of the Linden Lab avatars, you'll find them in your Inventory >>> Clothing >>> Initial Outfits folder.  You just use your mouse to drag an entire folder onto your av, and that will replace your current outfit ( including shape and skin) with what's in the folder.  You could also click a selection from the Avatar button on your viewer screen too.  It would do the same thing.

Avatars come in two types: Classic and mesh.

Most clothing sold in Second Life only works right with a classic avatar. Outfits that work with mesh avatars (in most cases) have to be made specifically for that avatar. You have both kinds of avatars available to you in your viewer/inventory as starters. You can also buy avatars (to replace your current avatar).
