were is the RVL on the firestorm view located so i can turn it on

There should be a tab for it. Otherwise, best bet is to ask in the Firestorm group inworld

Preferences->FIrestorm->Extras

The RLV checkbox is at the very top. "Extras" is the default tab, so the moment you select the Firestorm tab in Preferencces, you should see RLV.

You mean "RLV."  It's in your Preferences, I think in the Firestorm tab.  But Firestorm has a terrific tool to help you find settings.  There is a Search function in Preferences.  Just type in the term you are looking for and it will usually take you right there.
