How do I disable Group notifications to my email account?

Can it be done without myself having to go on to Second Life or can it be done on the website. Please I am getting sick of receiving all these emails.

most usefull would be to disable notifications in the groups itself, in that case your IM and other messages will keep going to your email.

This is only possible inworld i think.

You can disable each group's notifications on the General page of its profile.  Or you can do what many experienced SL residents do: create a new e-mail account that you only use for Second Life.  That way, messages from SL will not be mixed in with your regular e-mail.  There is of course a third alternative as well -- leave any groups that are sending you spam messages.  That's what I do.  :smileywink:
