There are so many avatar add ons. It's nearly impossible to advise for all here.

hmmm, is it a problem matching colors or is the problem that the hud doesn't work. Maybe you are on a sim which doesn't run scripts. Try on a different sim. Also taking a HUD off and then putting it back on again will sometimes get it working.
