The Radegast viewer is a text-only viewer --- NO graphics.  That's why it doesn't give you that graphics card error message.  It's also why you can't see anything when you log in.  You're not supposed to.  That viewer is meant basically for people who want to be able to check their inventory or send IMs to people in world, not for people who want to see things. Those text messages are telling you that you ARE logged in.

EDIT:  Ooops.  Whirly is right.  Radegast does have very rudimentary graphics.  I forgot about that.  She's also right that you shouldn't expect miracles from it.

On Radegast, you can see a very basic 3d world view by clicking the "3D Scene" button in the top menu bar. Beware though, it can be very crashy doing this on lower end machines.
