He/She/It will NOT get an email or an IM in-world indicating that they are now free to roam with the pack. I stand corrected! - As Fenimore Hapmouche has indicated below they will get an Email letting them know that they are now free to roam with the pack. As far as I recall, you bear the cost of the dissolution. Your ex will not see a debit transaction for this.

However, crazy exes have a pattern of checking the status of their property often so sooner or later they'll notice that they are single again.

If you own a parcel and boot them from the access list, they'll figure something is up pretty quickly.

Just get it done and move on.

Jepp as stated, a notice is sent and of course your ex-partner has to pay the 10L ? so they get noticed on that too.

I wouldn't care if they know.. If I was you I'd block them too where they cannot contact you and if they cause you alot grief, report it to Linden Labs.
