the  1 $ billing is to test your card, this will be restored. When this fails your card will be denied as payment option.

you always can call support or send in a ticket, but first be sure your card meet the requirements :

(most debit cards are NOT accepted...even with logo's from companies below)

Linden Lab recently made changes to its payments processor so your issue may be related to that.

Did you get an email on those lines and not update? It's possible the new payments processor was checking your card details. Even if you did update as requested, $1 is taken but repaid.
