how do i contact LL to get ownership of a group back?

help please - how do i contact LL to get ownership of a group back.  I stepped down as owner of a group I founded and gave the group to someone else.  That person left SL months ago, leaving the group in limbo.  The group is no longer active (no one sending notices, no events, inactive group members etc).  I want to get ownership back so I can shut down the group.

There is no support ticket option for groups and only contact info for LL is about billing.  Any other suggestions?

There aren't many categories listed so the advise has always been choose the closest thing.

Me personally, I'd choose "account issues" and let them sort it out.  :)

As far as I know, once you leave as owner, unless there is another to add you as an owner, you can't be added back. You'll have to create a new group. Invite the people in it to the new group and leave the old group. Once there is only 1 member left, it will close on its own.

As far as I know (not from my experience, heard from others), if the group have land and the owner is absent from SL, Lindens can give ownership for others, but it is not a simple task, very bureaucratic and painfull.

If your only desire is to shut down the group, simply leave it and forget about. Even if deleted the old name will not be usable anymore. Members that left SL and are still in the group will stay there forever, or until the end of SL.
