I'm also having difficulty understanding your question, so I'll guess something different than Rolig (who probably has your answer).

If you sail into a region where rezzing is disabled, but object entry isn't, your boat will vanish as soon as the occupants unsit. And I've seen that happen at region crossings. I don't know if there's a fix for that, other than to avoid sailing into such regions.
