Your friend will want to set up a support case, so that LL can temporarily block his account. It'll be released once they can confirm his identity.

Following that, the fraud helpline at 800-860-6990 (that's +1-800-860-6990 international/non-US) will probably give further advice depending on what caused your friend to give out their password. Note that this phone number probably can't directly effect changes in-world - opening a support case should be the first thing he does.
