wont work with windows 10

second life was working very well until i made mistake of updating computer to windows 10 now i get msg video card not up to date and i cant get SL at all , why was video card ok last week before update and not now . the amount of problems i have had going to windows 10, SL, ROBOFORM, INCREDIMAIL MCAFEE , I may go back to windows 8

I don't think you have to go back to Windows 8 ... if you type "windows 10" in the search field on the upper page of this forum, you can find a lot of threads and good advice about how to adjust Windows 10 so it will work fine with SL.

You need to update your graphic card driver. New OS -> new drivers.

To begin with, RoboForm needs to be installed and modified to use Internet Explorer 11 not the new Internet Browser named Edge. Instructions can be found here:

2) No one needs McAfee. Find another Anti-virus / Anti-malware solution. I find that the included solutions in Windows 10 are pretty good. The free Bitware Defender works very well in Windows 10 as well.

3) You need to locate your graphics subsystem driver and download it directly from the manufacturer. Don't depend on the Microsoft approved driver. Why? Because this will always be a few releases behind the latest version.

4) Incredimail - Not withstanding the fact that this is an intrusive and somewhat spyware class of product, it is compatible with Windows 10 - During your Windows 10 upgrade you must select the "Keep All Files" option so your IncrediMail data won't be lost. In case you've installed Windows 10 and cannot find IncrediMail please click here to re-install IncrediMail.
