I am unable to view Public chat

I have been using RLV, Version 2.4.0, and have been unable to view the dialogue that I type into public chat.  Others are able to see what I type into public chat but will not display on my viewer.  I have no difficulties with IM, only public chat.  I have tried resetting items, clearing caches, reinstalling the viewer, etc.  Does anyone have any useful ideas?

Check to be sure that you haven't accidentally muted yourself. It's very easy to do.  Check your list of blocked avatars and objects. My guess is that you are on it.

and to avoid it in the future, when using a v2 viewer, make sure you chose "ignore" and NOT "block" when declining items.... "block" places the owner of the item on mute.... even if YOU are the owner.
