Can't Login to Main Account

Linden Lab hasn't had a support phone number since .... well, at least since I joined in 2007.  If you are a Premium member, you can contact Live Chat, though.

Your main account may have a gigantic inventory that is simply taking so long to load that your viewer is timing out before it can connect to SL servers.  The alt with a smaller inventory has no problem.  It's also possible that your main av is wearing something that is making it hard for you to connect.  Try installing a text-only viewer like Radegast.  If you can log on with it, change your outfit to see if that helps.

BTW, clearing cache will slow things down considerably until your viewer can download the information from SL servers again and create a new cached copy.  If you ever feel the need to clear cache, do it manually instead of using the "Clear Cache" button in Preferences.  Follow these directions >>>  http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_cache_clear .  IMO, the most important sentence in those instructions is the one that says, "While inventory repopulates, do not teleport anywhere, and do not attempt to access anything in your inventory."  Just be patient.

I have never had it happen (so far) but I have read that a corrupt group tag can prevent you from loggin in. Linden Live Chat may be able to fix this for you (assuming you have a Premium account).

If you can remember which group tag you were wearing, you can ask the group owner to expell you. Then later you can ask to be invited back into the group.

Rolig's idea of using a text-only viewer may also allow you to log in. If you can get in, stop wearing the group tag.
