An error message appear concerning the media_plugin_webkit and I haven't any access to any profils (included mine). It seems to be an old problem which appear sometimes in 2nd life. Do you have a solution to solve this problem?

Switch the viewer to use an extrnal web browser.

With the viewer closed, log into https://my.secondlife.com/. You may want to try all the SL web sites while you are at it.

After you are successfully logged in, you can close the web site and try again in the viewer.

The problem has to do with web certificates. For whatever reason Webkit has a problem with them. Plus the Lab once again let some certificate lapse. It has been renewed now, but that may have been the glitch that set your viewer off.

That assumes this cert thing is the Webkit problem you are having.

Fortunately the Webkit days are almost over. The viewer that replaces Webkit with Chromium Embedded Framework is almost to the Project Viewer stage. So, it looks like we will get rid of Webkit this year.

Also, if you are just having this problem today, it may just be the Internet in general. DownDetector.com is showing a lot of people having problems with sites. If that is the case and a profile doesn't open, close and immediately reopen it.
