I bought this 110 L$ swimsuit but cannot put it on. It mentions it needs a sandbox to unpack, so...

Here is a guide to standard sizing. It's free, but you don't need to purchase it at all, anyway: All of the information you need is in the description. You choose the size that fits best with your shape settings. Keep in mind that you may still have to edit ou'your shape to fit into your clothing, but usually only by small amounts as long as your settings are close to one of those listed. 

If nothing is happening, it is probably less the suit and more user error. Go to a low-traffic sim and add the appropriate sized suit. (Add, not Wear.) Give it a minute to load up. If it's not appearing at all, try right-clicking it in your inventory and choosing Edit. Sometimes this seems to help. If it simply will not appear at all, try a different size, in case there is some kind of glitch with your chosen size. If that doesn't work, check the creator's profile to see how they prefer to be contacted, then send them a polite notecard or IM explaining the problem and asking for assistance. 

As for a refund, unlikely. If anything, you'll probably get a replacement, not a refund. Unless it's transferrable, you can't return it, which is why most merchants have a no-refund policy.

If all the sizes and the alpha were present in your Received Items folder, then the suit was ready to wear direct from your Inventory.

Simply wear the alpha and "Add" the size [suit part name - S] you think will look correct on your avatar.

How are you trying to wear it?

And have you tried it several times? (Its likely not a problem created by some broken product, but I had some trouble getting stuff to rezz yesterday, so it might solve itself)

Hi hallebarde, and welcome to SL!

I think Ariel and KarenMichelle are on the right track suggesting that "wear vs add" may be the root of your problem. "Wear"ing a thing causes it to displace everything that's allready worn on that layer or attached to that attachment point. "Add" leaves pre-existing things in place and either overlays or appends the new thing.

So, if the last thing you "Wear" is an alpha layer/object, it'll obliterate everything that came before it.

"Add" is your friend! Use "Wear" only when you want to clear out everything on that layer or attachment point first.
