Was charged double fee when I joined a group on SL, what can I do to have does lindens refunded?

Wile I was inworld I tried joining a group which once I click the first time it didn't join, waited for a wile and then tried again, got charge double fee, what can I do to get those lindens refunded? Tried talking with the owner of the group but was told that I had to talk with Lindens about this.

I doubt you'll see that money again. Once it's taken by groups it gets divided amongst the membership (depending on roles), so your group joining fee may be in tiny pieces spread throughout SL. If the group owner chooses not to refund it (they're under no obligation to refund you) then money is gone byebye.

LL do not give refunds for L$ spent. This is spelled out clearly in the Community Standards.
