I cannot connect to a simulator

I cannot login with one specific avatar. All others log in fine, but this one is unable to connect to a simulator. Any advice?

Same here - we have the familiar uninformative euphemism "unscheduled maintenance" listed on the grid status page. I have tried live chat but they don't know what's up. I do wish the grid status would give us mushrooms SOME indication what the problem is such as a broken database server or something

I have the same issue, loged out because of a graphical error, When I tried to log back in, I received the message, "Login failed. Unable to connect to a simulator." I get this message on the SL viewer and on FIrestorm, Singularity, and Alchemy even after restarting my computer and network.

I can not Log in ether and 2 of my alts cant ether but one of my old ones can just Log in fine

 So, if they took the time to tell you exactly which wires were crossed, how much more would you really know?  And what difference would it make?  When they get it fixed, they'll get it fixed.

READ up ^^ and look at other posts in Answers with exactly the same question. And always check the Grid Status blog ( http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ ) when you wonder if there's a grid-wide issue.

And here I'm thinking it was just me, but it looks like it's a few others, as well. I guess it's related to their unscheduled maintenance going on. 

I already tried all the other steps that were suggested for FS viewer, and of course, they never helped.

So, I guess it's just a wait out situation.

I have same problem happened today..one avatar can not connect to a simulator ..all others are ok..i was using avatar moved avie to sit down and then i logged out, maybe avie did not get seated all the way before i logged out??????

Just relax. Read all of the other identical questions in Answers this afternoon. In the future, get in the habit of paying attention to the Grid Status blog when you suspect that there might be a larger problem. In the meantime, go take a long walk.

If you read the responses to other people who have asked the same question here, and if you pay attention to the Grid Status blog, you will know as much as anyone else does. Just take a break for a while. Pour yourself a glass of wine, do some yoga, meditate ......
