Why can't i speak to my hubby in sl on our land or any where else,that is not fair..I have Firestorm....And now for downloading 4.7.9 i see people different colors why HELP??

you did by giving your birthday while signing up.

Adding paymnet info as paypal or CC also verifies you for gaming sims, unless you'r too young or living in certain states.

A long long long....super long time ago, Second Life had a verification process for accounts to determine if a person using the account was of legal age or not. They required you to enter something from a real life document, that was linked to your person. I, for example, used my drivers licence, if I remember it correctly...

As you can guess, this process probably caused more work for LL than it was worth. So, one day they got rid of the verficiation process and decieded that the date of birth you entered when creating your account will determine if you are allowed to enter M and A rated sims or not.

All you have to do now is to set your preferences to enable the search to show you M and A content.
